Graduation

Last Saturday, June 6th 2015 I’ve finally graduated from Stockholm School of Economics and received a degree of Bachelor of Science in Business and Economics. Of course, it was an important day in my life, but I can’t say that it changed something in my life. Actually, I don’t believe in “points” in life after which everything changes dramatically, I believe that life is a continuous path and we are constantly evolving and gaining experience. Then we can take a period in time and compare ourselves in the beginning and at the end of the period.

If I take myself from year 2012 and compare with myself from present it would be two completely different persons. Back in 2012 I believed in formal education more that I do now. But life showed that most of the important and useful things you learn by doing these things; we can read textbooks hundred times, but when it comes to actually doing something you don’t think about theory, you just try and see what happens.

Here one may say that it means that I had very good teachers, because I don’t have to think about the theories, they sit very deep in my brain and I unconsciously apply them… maybe they are right. I don’t regret about last 3 years, I just want to say that university was a part of my life, not the whole life and I am who I am now not because of it.

And here is our baby Myla proudly holding my diploma. I wish her and everyone good luck in their lives! Lets do things we love and don’t waste our time on things others think we should do!
